Cot bumper of something similar - 9 mo DD banging her head on cot bars

Morning All,
hoping someone can help please: my 9 month old DD has somehow taking a liking to sleeping in the fetal position right at the top of her cot every night. No problem with this, except for when she stirs in her sleep and she bangs her head into the bars of the cot and she lets out some pained cries. Any suggestions for anything I could put across the bars to soften the blow for her? I have a mesh bumper (not currently using it) but not sure if there would be enough protection from it. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Bumpers aren't safe. There are individual wraps which go around two bars at a time which are safer.

Following- We have the same problem my 6mo wriggles and head butts his cot all night. Doesn't seem to bother him but the noise sounds awful, makes me cringe to hear him hitting his head so much.

I had a similar problem and bought airwrap cot bumpers, breathable and safe, but a wee bit of padding.

Yeah we have an air wrap, really recommend them! He can't get his arms or legs caught and his dummy can't fall out but it's safe. They are washable so you can always buy second hand.

We've moved our son into a travel cot for the time being as he's standing up, trying to walk and falling back and battering the back of his head. This way when he falls, it's soft and cushioned. I'll move him back when he gets his balance. You could maybe try something similar?

@saywhatwhatnow would have never thought to buy second hand. Just got some for £6 on eBay- thank you!
