Real nappies and a newborn-convince me not to buy 3rd packet of disposables.

OK, so DD is 18 months and still in reusables day and night. I didn't start with her until she was about 3 months old as she was tiny. DS is going to be a week old tomorrow. So far I've chickened out.

Actually I'm all set to go, I have loads of muslin cloths, nappi nippas, extra small rikki wraps and plenty of birth to potty nappies for both of them when DS gets big enough for them.

Convince me to start using them now. I apologise for starting the thread and leaving, but need sleep and to feed ds. Will check replies out tomorrow I promise. Oh and it's bf poo and I'm intending on using the origami fold.

Go for it! Mine are all stuffed and ready to go as soon as LO turns up...... well, maybe a couple of days of disposables while I get my head round the whole 2nd baby, crap husband thnig.......

Actually dh not too bad with whole concept. Checking if ds has pooed while sitting on settee half removing nappy and then panicking AINT the most sensible thing when miles away from changing stuff though

hey sleepcat if jennster doesn't want the wraps I'll have them - been following the thread as dc2 due in dec and ds in reusables (was from 6 wks) going to use his old ones as soon as dc is big enough but been looking for muslin/wrap success stories so I don't have to buy disposables at all this time...
let me know if you still want to sell them
