Baby sleeping on top of a Duvet

I’ve seen on various instagrammers, their babies sleeping on top of duvets (duvets tucked into sides).

My 9 month old would probably find this comfortable as he likes to be quite cosy and his cot bed mattress is quite hard.

Would there be anything wrong with this? Could he overheat?

Not a good idea imo, the pictures people post of babies sleeping on Instagram on the whole is dangerous and irresponsible. As far as I’m aware, a duvet shouldn’t be used until after 1.

Goodness no, safe sleep guidance is a firm
flat mattress. Your baby’s cot mattress feels firm for good reason.
