My 10 day old is on 4ounces and feeding every 3.5/4 hours is this normal ??

Ok so this is my second baby can't really compare as my first had reflux, he was born 8pounds 4 so nice healthy baby, fed well, two weeks on his established routine seems to be 3/4 ounces every 3.5/4 hours, HV been happy with weight gain etc ?

In general, it is recommended for BF babies to feed every 2-3 hours at first in order to establish the milk supply. Formula-fed babies may need to feed slightly less often than breastfed newborns because it takes a newborn’s tummy longer to digest and break down formula. So babies tend to feel fuller for longer periods of time. Breast milk, on the other hand, is digested fairly quickly. So every 3-4 hours for formula fed babies would be about right.
Every situation is different, of course, but if your baby is formula-fed, you can use a fairly simple formula to determine approximately how many ounces your baby needs in a day. Simply multiply your baby’s weight by 2.5. For example, an 8-pound baby would need about 20 ounces of formula in a 24-hour period.

Sounds normal to me. Sufficient amount and regularly. If he's sleeping well and seems content after a feed, I wouldn't be worried
