Photos of your baby on social media

I post photos of my children on social media but limit who can see them.

I don't want others posting photos of them. I asked my cousin in law to remove a photo last week of my baby. We've had the conversation several times.

We've got a wedding next month and I don't want photos of them online. They all know I dont like it so what do I do??

Our DC were flower girl and page boy at a wedding last year. We have no photos of our children online. The B&G know this. There were no wedding pictures of DC online. I don’t see how it’s a problem, no-one is going to come to psychological harm because 2 of the wedding party weren’t plastered across an open fb account.

Unless you have a reason for them not to appear on social media, I.e hiding from an abusive partner then you’re being a little bit controlling imo.

I understand it because I used to feel the same way but I’ve relaxed in recent years because I’ve realised how little it actually matters. I don’t really know what I was so afraid of in the past. Are you going to be the parent who doesn’t allow their children to be on the school’s social media too?

Anyway, just don’t let them be in any of the wedding photos and explain why if asked.
