What do you do to keep them amused?????

He is absolutely fine(thankfully), bar spots(loads more to come) in fact far more energetic than normal and bouncing off the walls with boredom.

I've got 31/2 year old twins and a 2 1/2 year old and we are all soooo bored.

If the others catch it which they're bound to, we could be having a month of this!!!!!!!!

Any ideas, what did you do to keep them quiet, happy, amused.????

I should add we've done the DVD popcorn thing already,in fact the tv has been on for most of the day and I'm dying to switch it off but they don't seem to want to do anything else at all.

Also done stickers(for 5 minutes)eating ice lollies, books. Have now officially reached the end of my amusing poorly kids collection of ideas.

MilaMae,

My DS had the infernal 'pox last week but was as normal as ever except for the spots. Annoyingly banned from nursery for 7 days when he actually caught it there and every other kid in his class has had it in the last few weeks!!! Stable door, horse etc.

In case of itching, I def. recommend Eurax cream ( it says 3yrs + on label but we called GP who said OK to use) No evidence of itching at all.

For entertainment,

  1. Balloons. This was a mumsnet tip and I went out and bought a packet and it worked a treat.
  2. The old 2 chairs + sheet draped over to make a tent.
  3. Indoor picnic. I'd say outdoors in the garden but it does appear to be October out there at present.
  4. Bit of light dusting and hoovering? DS likes a bit of dusting. Great for skirting boards etc. Love him!
  5. Custard pie (paper plate + shaving foam)fights. This was my favourite thing to do when I was little. Not quite as messy as it sounds. Use Vanish carpet foam and combine with step 4?

HTH!
