I really hope someone can help me with my question am grateful for any input :)
My 1yo had a mark on hes leg that looked like a cigarette burn we didn't know what it was or how it happened we put cream on it no one smokes etc so knew it wasnt a burn, it was at the back of hes leg, hes not near anything hot like fires or boiling water etc. After putting cream on it another one appeared on hes other leg and then a few more we took him to the docs and after being given creams they just didn't do anything it seemed like it got worse. We went back and was told its dermatitis and given a 2 week steroid cream and after that told to use normal creams for dry skin etc on him, the redness went down for 2 weeks but the marks kept appearing and spreading just less red. We carried on for 2 weeks and then used the other cream to keep it moist the redness came back and they kept spreading.
We went back to docs and mentioned we dont know if its ringworm so we was given clotrimazole cream which is an antifungal cream for things like ringworm, been using this now for about a week and half but nothing seems to be improving the marks look horrific and I feel like crying each time as I feel they must be painful or at least uncomfortable for him. We keep going back to the docs and the marks keep spreading no matter what we try, really hope someone can help
