I have 3 grandchildren. The oldest boy is now 18 and working and has a steady girlfriend. Is it reasonable to no longer buy him Easter Eggs? I want to treat him as an adult but part of me feels mean.

Everyone in my family regardless of age, gender etc gets Easter Eggs. I buy for my parents and they buy for me! Nothing wrong with a nice chocolate egg no matter what your age!

I agree with you, OP - definitely time to stop. He’s 18 and working - time for him to start buying you Easter presents 🙂

My eldest son is 18 and thinks he's beyond most of the stuff we do as a family for his younger brothers (egg hunts etc). He'd be gutted if his grandparents didn't get him an Easter egg, although he definitely prefers grown up ones and would raise an eyebrow at a chocolate buttons egg.

My 43 year old daughter and her husband get an Easter egg or Lindt bunny as well as the dgc. I also give my 88 year old mother and her friend a Lindt bunny. You're never too old.

You clearly want to stop and think you should so not quite sure what you're on here for? Do whatever you want. You know best.

I buy my partner an Easter egg, he is 40 soon. His mom also still buys him an egg (she buys me one too)

It’s completely up to you but I probably still would. You can buy them reasonably priced and there is always offers on.

I wish my mum or my grandparents would buy me an egg 🙈
