Hi all firstly can someone explain to me the car seat laws for a 13 month old. He weighs just over 2 stone now and is a tall baby 😊
I want to get a car seat that can suit him now and when he is older 😊 what car seats do you recommend? At the moment I am looking at the Cosatto All in All

Looking at the safety rating some seats are only crash tested to 30mph are you wanting to extend rear facing?

The law is the bare minimum and not the safest. Ideally he should be rear facing until 4 years old. As he is a tall baby that limits your options as most of the erf car seats say but to 4 but only 50% of children will be short enough to rear face in them until 4. The pinned post on the Facebook Car seat advice UK lists erf car seats suitable for tall children.
