Hi really need some advice that isn't from my mother who seems to think I am incapable of anything I suggest I want to do in life!
I have to beautiful children age 4 and 2 and I am getting broody!! Already!!
My husband would happily have another when we are financially a boy better and I do to but I am worried about all the details!
We only have 3 bedrooms and not a massive car , the baby would be in childcare 3 days a week from one year old.. is it fair for the other 2 , can we actually afford it??
Also I'm almost 31 and I am worried about my age being an issue:
You know when you just want some thing but you're over thinker and want it to all work out?

Any advice would be REALLY appreciated!!

Xx

Why would she be an issue? I’ve just had my first at 33 and plan on 2 more! Plenty don’t have children until their 40s now...

*age be an issue

SoyDora · 11/03/2019 18:54

Just had my third at 34, I can’t see why age would be an issue?
Only you can answer whether you can afford it and whether it is feasible.

I wouldn't have more kids than bedrooms but that's just me, I know kids very happily share bedrooms and it can be a positive. I guess I would worry about them waking each other at those ages and then their privacy as teenagers.

Age/childcare etc wouldn't bother me.

I had my first at 32 and my third at 37. We did need to buy a new car to accommodate everyone and we're now considering a loft conversion to create another couple of bedrooms.

Baby #3 has been an expensive addition, but I utterly adore her and I would make the same decision again and again.

I had five of my seven dc after age 33, why would age be an issue with you? You should have loads of fertile years left.

3 here.
Love love love it. It s very busy. Much busier than with 2. Costs not too bad really - no 3 gets a lot of hand me downs and probably our most relaxed easiest baby. It s lovely for the older two and has taught them about being kind sharing and not being 'an only'
