What should my baby wear to bed tonight

Hello,

Hopefully someone sees this! Our boiler has just gone, so no heat tonight, and typical ftm worrying about how to dress baby. Monitor says it's currently 15.8 in his room, assuming it will drop lower later. He has a fleecie onesie I was going to put him in under a 2.5 tog sleeping bag. Will this be enough? Maybe a vest as well? He's 7 months old. Thanks for any advice.

Fleece doesn't let skin breathe easily. I would do long sleeve body suit, sleepsuit and 2.5 tog bag. If he's cold he will wake and moan and you can add a blanket if he would stay under it?

For reference my DS is 8 months, the room is 18 at the mo but will drop overnight when the heating goes off. He's in a sleeveless vest, sleepsuit and a 2.5 tog. No blankets as he rolls about too much.

Thank you! I usually have him in a short sleeve vest, sleepsuit and 2.5 tog sleeping bag when it's 19-20 degrees, but maybe I'm overdressing him anyway. I don't know if being born in a heatwave means he feels the cold more lol.

I would put a long sleeve vest and socks on too.

My 6 month olds room gets to 15.8 some nights, he's in a long sleeved vest, sleepsuit and 2.5 tog bag

Try this from the gro bag webpage, will tell you what and how many layers: gro.co.uk/what-to-wear/

I swear by the Gro bag guides. They're spot on.
