Amby natures nests - any experience of these?

Hi there,

Thinking of buying one of these for ds2 due in Oct. They look great. Just slightly concerned that might have a nightmare weaning a 12 month old baby out of here who has been happily rocked to sleep for a year and then has to get used to sleeping in a normal cot!

Does anyone have any experience of this? And whether they are as good as they look too would be helpful!

Thanks in advance!

They are absolutely wonderful!!!
The best buy for my babies I have ever made, worth every penny.
I have not had a prob putting older babies into a cot once they've out grown the hammock. I was worried about it initially, but it was fine. Do get one, you won't regret it

My 4 week old sleeps in one and loves it but to be honest she is such a good kid and will sleep anywhere. I do make an effort to vary her sleeping places and in a day she might sleep on her tummy in her moses basket, on her back in her hammock or pram, in bed next to me or on her front on my chest or DH or in her sling. So she is completely used to the hammock so come time to move out of it I don't anticipate her having major issues. However, will have to let you know how it goes

What I'm looking forward to is using it as a travel cot later this year when we do some trips

My 12 week dd2 sleeps in one. We got it when she was 6 weeks and its been great. Before that she would only sleep ON me in bed at night (and threw up if put on her back after a feed). Works really well for when she startles herself awake as the movement just sends her back off again!
