They both look as if they'd nippa well on a newborn?

bumping for you because I'd like to know if they are any good.

I think the stay dry would its slimmer than the bamboo but you'd have to do a reverse boy or poo catcher to keep the fleece on the 'right' side to keep baby dy. or you could just pull up between the legs and tuck each corner away. The stay dry has won awards and has a lot of followers they are or were in the kingston and merton council trial packs and people have bought more of them because of how much they liked them.

No reason why the bamboo shouldn't nippa well either. like em both.

Have ordered one of each to see what they're like.

Ceolas, where have you ordered your's from (if you don't mind me asking?) ?

Ceolas · 23/06/2007 14:23

Ordered from nappy nation's site. Think it's actually a pack of the stay dry.

Could you let me know if they are any good please. I'd like to try them but can't really justify buying them unless they are great.

Ceolas · 23/06/2007 18:59

Tutu I can't do any rigourous testing until August when baby arrives! I could send you one from the stay dry pack if you like? They are the smallest size.

Thanks very much for your kind offer. My DS is 2 though so I need the hughest size!!!!!!!! Could you just let me know if they feel quite thick when yours arrive please. I'm using pad-folded terries and prefolds on him at the moment and I like them but find them a bit of a faff with the liner on top as well, that's why I'd like to try the stay-dry ones. I was just a bit worried about absorbancy.

spacegrantham · 26/06/2007 01:02

the stay dry are cotton terry with a fleece top. So if the flannel prefolds that you are using atm are absorbant enough the stay dry should be fine. I found cotton terry to be more absorbant than flannel.

Hmm I know this doesn't solve your liner problem but the absorbancy of the bamboo prefolds is much more than cotton.

Thanks spacegrantham. I find the cotton prefolds I have are fine most of the time for absorbancy, but a little more is never a bad thing! Think I will give them a try as they sound very good.
