here

any thoughts?

need a couple of nappies for when i'm out with dd2. we only use bambineos with poppers but she's getting very hard to change whilst we're out as she's rolling over all the time. i was thinking a pocket nappy will be the answer to this and came across this one.

have ordered some swaddlebees for dd1 but dd2 won't fit in them for another few months and i can't go on like this when we're out (was on a train trying to change her and it didn't have a strap to hold her on the changing unit and it was bloody hard to keep her on there and change her pooey bum). i want one that doesn't leak, has poppers, looks nice and boosts well.

TIA

think nappyzone has used the green acre ones, I am sure she will know a bit about how good they are

they've just arrived and wow! they look fantastic

a bit small but i think pockets do look small until they're boosted?

i'm getting so excited, this is really sad being excited over bloody nappies

oops sorry maybe a bit late but yeah i use green acre in my wonderoos, drybees and heinys - very versatile - also fits in a mommys touch - is good - better than the wonderowrks one. Does the job well for me.

i've had to email them to let them know that the nappy is too small, i got medium and dd2 should easily fit into it, i measured to make sure but for some reason she doesn't. it looks the size of a newborn nappy. i'm hoping she might have made a mistake and sent a small one out instead. even the stuffing she recommended has to be folded over to fit into the nappy.

KK - where did the insert go in then? is it in the middle or the normal end filling type? Still couldnt get my head around her stuffing in the middle explanation?

kreamkrackers · 24/06/2007 22:41

it's at the back, like normal but there's a bit inside that stops it coming back out although the stuffing hasn't come out of the swaddlebees and the fuzzi bunz i've got for dd1.

she's happy to accept them back and exchange for some larger ones.

finally got it in large, thought it fitted dd2 well but as she is crawling her wee was coming out at the front . tried it on dd1 and it fits her really well . there isn't much adjustment in size which is the only problem i can think of with the nappy but they are getting changed to ones that will have more poppers and bigger tabs. it looks lovely but it's not fair having nice nappies that you can't show off with this horrible weather

just thought i'd update on this thread incase anybody's interested. the pocket bots work really well on dd1 (even though they were for dd2). she's just changed the design though so there's more poppers on the nappies which is a bit annoying as they might have fitted dd2 as well as dd1. dp finds them easier to put on so that's a bonus.

been using my swaddlebees that i got cheap from ebay on dd2 and they've worked really well and also have the girlie fuzzi for dd1 and the bug fuzzi for dd2 which i love although dp struggles getting them on as i stuff them but somehow when he puts them on the stuffing comes out of the back! i love pockets now but still love my bambineos more.

still thinking of getting a pea pod but have just bought some pistachio bambineos so will have to wait again. i seem to have loads of nappies but somehow we go through them all so quickly and we're running out all the time waiting for them to dry. i blame this horrible weather but the best thing is it allows me to buy more nappies

I have just ordered two of these (one night-time and a print) to try as I am having the same drying issues with my pockets. I was all set to order some more Swaddlebees but then the one I've got already started leaking again so I thought I would give these a try. I will let you know what I think of the new design .
