Ds is 9 weeks old. He is a classic Velcro baby, just like dd was. He hates being put down anywhere like bouncy chair, play mat etc. He has all his naps on me or in the sling. I carry him in the sling most of the day so I can do stuff with dd. But there are some things that are impossible with him in the sling. So inevitably ds ends up crying a fair bit. I feel guilty about this, but can’t see an alternative.
So far dd has been really good with ds. But she is getting fed up with me holding ds all the time. And she asks me to put him down so she can have a cuddle.
How much does your Velcro baby have to put up with being parked somewhere, crying?
Can anyone reassure me that this is normal for the poor neglected second child, and ds won’t be horribly damaged by this?
