Bio-Oil in Baby bath for dry skin?

Does anyone know if you can put a couple of drops in baby's bath to help with dry winter skin? Or even apply directly to there skin?

I've been using lotions (tried Aveno, Welada, and one other I can't remember the name of), but they don't seem to be cutting it. Just don't want it to get worse before winter really kicks in and then it'll be really difficult to fix for him.

Have you tried a baby oil rather than lotion? When my ds has dry skin a couple of drops of burts bees oil worked better than lotion. Not sure about bio oil, haven’t used it on anyone except myself before

I found coconut oil worked a treat.

better to apply cream/lotion after the bath.
bath oils make babies more slippery than eels.

Oilatum is good for dry skin and eczema. Also, reducing the frequency of baths and using an emollient cream like diprobase.
