Can anyone give me some advice myself and my 4year old daughter have recently moved in with my mother in law who has two dogs at first my daughter was smitten by the dogs until one of the dogs vomited in front of her and she totally freaked out and since then hasn't wanted to be around them she refuses to be in the same room as them and as you can imagine that isn't easy so she spends most of her time in her bedroom I've attempted to put her in the same room as the dogs but it causes her to much distress she'll physically shake and literally crawl up me or even tables to get away begging me to take her back upstairs.
I've read books with her about dogs and watched movies with dogs in hoping it'll make her have a love of dogs again. But nothing is working. It isn't ideal for her to spend most of her time upstairs. If anyone has any advice it would be great thanks x
