Good article - like the idea. When I was scrolling down the page I was rather puzzled to see 'Bridal make-up video. Daniel Sandler reveals how to look radiant on your big day' and then I realised I was thinking of Adam Sandler . Don't think he'd be much good at make up.

oh they have a summer ball at our kids' school. 40 frickin quid a ticket! They raise lots of money for the PTA - but it's so exclusive. If I wanted the privilege of partay-ing at a 3rd-rate hotel with the yummy mummies at our school, I would have to fork out £80 for tickets, plus babysitting costs, plus hiring a tux for DH (tis black tie) plus drinks, plus taxi home and that's without having the moolah to buy tickets for the complusory raffle to win ''upmarket and clarsy'' prizes such as a ropy dried flower bouquet donated by one of the mums who runs a shop.

And to add insult to injury, as a member of the PTA I am expected to help organise an event to which I will never be able to afford to attend...
