Hello all on here - I am looking for some reassurance and advice!!

My daughter got her finger trapped in a folding picnic chair on Saturday and it obviously really hurt her. I got squashed and quite a bit of skin scraped off. It is her left hand index finger. Ever since he did it she holds that hand in a tight fist and will not open it and she is left handed. We were away at a friends for the weekend and so when we were back on Monday morning I took her to local minor injuries who x-rayed it and told me it wasn't broken and she should start using it again soon it was probably bruised. I relaxed a bit after this but now she is still not using it and the finger apart from a bit of a scab looks absolutely fine no swelling. Hand still clenched, not opened it once since x-ray and if I try and suggest we have a look she cries. She is playing happily and not complaining about it but I'm just concerned why it is still like this?

Sorry for the long ramble. Interested what people think

I'd take her to the doctors again maybe just to be safe.
