Having one of these days with toddler

Her molars are coming in. She vomited the other night after becoming hysterical over nappy for bed time. Changed all bedding. Last night we had first night with no nappy as she had been dry for weeks. Yep, she wet the bed. Now she has accidentally poured chocolate milkshake on the newly dried duvet.

She only had chocolate milk as I was hiding medicine in it. I have just given her peanut butter and jam sandwiches. She has a biscuit for breakfast. She normally eats healthy.

I am exhausted due to her poor sleep over the last week, as is she. Obviously none of this is her fault. I was trying to cut back on TV but I have had Peppa on for the last 45 mins.

Please tell me I am not horrific parent and how do I get through days like these.

Sending you solidarity Thanksas my just 2 year old DD has been an absolute devil today. She refused her breakfast then screamed all the way to school and back as she was hungry so I gave in and gave her a biscuit, obvs. We tried to go for a little walk , got halfway and she refused to walk. I waited patiently and spoke calmly saying "Mummy's not going to pick you up, we are going to walk home, it's not far etc. She had an epic tantrum turn starting head butting the pavement to the alarm of passers by so I picked her up as I felt I had no choice.
Any tips on how not to give in?! My eldest was NEVER like this!

That sounds awful, Wine. If she is in danger from herself you have to step in.

I think it is the lack of sleep that is tipping me over the edge. I miss nap time.

You're not awful you're just in Emergancy mode right now. Just get through the next few days as well as you can then go back to healthy eating and reducing screen time once you're back on an even keel.... this will pass sending Thanks
