Wail Boo Hoo - Have just written letter to nursery saying that dd will leave!!

Because she is starting school in Sep.

She has been so happy there, she will miss all her little friends & she loves the workers & I loved them too.

I know that it is a Good Thing that she is starting school - a whole new adventure, and it is such a beautiful school 7 her class teacher is lovely & she will have 2 rooms & and outdoor area, and only 28 in the class.
BUT it means saying good bye to lovely nursery where they have an office for mums to cry in & all the staff know every child by name & she has all her little friends.

I think i should stop, I am seriously on the verge of tears at my desk!

I was in exactly the same position as you last year. My son loved his nursery.

Its time to make sure you got the names and addresses of all her little friends.

I am glad your daughter has enjoyed nursery and I am sure she will enjoy school. Children reach a point when they begin to need the formal structure of school.

My son is coming to end of reception. He has learnt so much and developed considerally as a person.

thanks - i know it will be great at school - we went last night & the classroom is just lovely 7 i WANT her to be there, with that teacher, but all her friends are turning 4 atm so there's loads of parties & fun & it just seems so sad that many of them will be going to different schools - also her birthday is the end of aug so now i worry - will they bother to come for her party when she leaves nursery 4 weeks earlier?
i'm having a silly mummy moment - worrying about things that won't be problems, but this just feels like she won't be my little girl any more - she'll wear uniform & everything!
