bamboozles, bulky?? nah, fluffles, now they're bulky!

but if you want something even slimmer then hows about, the new quick flip lite (ask flame) or imse vimse flannelette.

OR be proud of the huge cloth bum!

Flamesparrow · 12/06/2007 09:46

A pocket maybe? Fuzzi or swaddlebees always look nice and slim on DS.

Ooh - or my mum says the quick flip lights look slim on him (in my profile - the red nappy with pirate t-shirt)

tortoiseSHELL · 12/06/2007 09:46

What wrap are you using? Ds2 uses bamboozles during the day, and it's fine, using a Motherease airflow wrap, but if you want something even slimmer, the other sort of motherease wrap, the one with the velcro fits more snugly.

lol - crossed posts.

Tis all very well being proud of cloth bum, but when you need girly trousers to fit short legs, the bums are tight too

snugglebumnappies · 12/06/2007 09:47

Flame we can't see your profile

Enid · 12/06/2007 09:50

exactly flamey - had a real problem getting trousers on her this morning because of this

good advice re the wrap I think it is the wrap that is making her so bulky, she needss a little 'nipped in' wrap

btw since wearing the nappies from yesterday afternoon to this mornig her nappy rash has almost completely gone (for those who read boring nappy rash/disposables thread)

put her in mroe skirts/dresses and invest in leg warmers for chillier days.

Peachy · 12/06/2007 09:54

I'm going to shamelessly plug these from hempresto

A} because she's a friend of mine and DS2 wanted to marry her daughter before we all moved away
B) because I know she put so much work into the design / research / fabric technology that I have nothing but total faith in her and her product
C) because she's doing it for all the right reasons- she's an environmentala ctivist and an attachment parenting guru and well, I admire her style!

Shameless plug over

Enid · 12/06/2007 09:58

aha misdee!

now I am certainly not going to change how I dress her because of her nappies! They either fit in with me or its back to Huggies!

what about bambineos?

Enid · 12/06/2007 10:02

the swaddlebees look good

Flamesparrow · 12/06/2007 10:03

lol - that's because I went back to sparrow... will change back

maveta · 12/06/2007 10:03

swaddlebees are teeny tiny..

Flame · 12/06/2007 10:04

How about now?

The bambineos and bamboozles don't have a lot between them in bulk different - the swaddlebees or fuzzis are about your best bet I think

Flame · 12/06/2007 10:04

Swaddlebees are much slimmer cut on the thighs and tummy as well as the bum (will go see if I have a pic of those)

Enid · 12/06/2007 10:05

she is teeny tiny

petite (despite looking like boris johnson )

OP posts:
Enid · 12/06/2007 10:06

oh she has quite a fat tum though (in comparison with skinny legs and hips)

OP posts:
Flame · 12/06/2007 10:06

I've always liked the look of hempresto, but never had the money for a nappy and wrap at the same time!!

Flame · 12/06/2007 10:07

Hmmm... .no swaddlebees shots They are side adjustable so you can have tighter fit on thighs than waist

misdee · 12/06/2007 10:08

swaddlebees are smaller and slimmer, but not the best nappy IMO. bamboozles are fab and the slimmest of all the tots, except possibly the older coloured tots with nippas?

i must sort out dd3 nappies soon actually.

Enid · 12/06/2007 10:08

so [dimbo] they have the wrap as part of the nappy? do you put booster pads in or can you use alone?

OP posts:
Enid · 12/06/2007 10:09

oh I love the bamboozles

LOVE tHEM

but I only have 5 so I want to get another, slimmer lot

Peachy · 12/06/2007 10:10

I've never actually used them Flame- but I did help her out for reusable nappy week a few years back (DS3 moselled the toots bots red fleece he was using at the time, and I covered her town centre stall) and they seemed v. good. Like the other stuff she does too- the changing mat with built in nappy and all her more off the wall stuff.

And the fact that certainl;y until they relocated she was working in the attic when the kids were asleep like the rest of us do LOL

misdee · 12/06/2007 10:11

where are her trousers from?

for skinny minnie dd3 (with long legs) i find next stuff is fine on her.

tortoiseSHELL · 12/06/2007 10:32

Hurrah on the nappy rash! Ds2 is the opposite to your dd3 btw - he has chubby legs, but a skinny tum!
