I have just pretty much recently understood that my kid is spending quite a lot of time online (laptop and ofc my smartphone!)...
I know some of you will say that it is bad, or that I even shouldnt let my kid use smartphone at all. But you know what? I think technology is good in general, and even if i wanted to hide it from my son it wouldnt be effective cause he might encounter it in kindergarten, at a friends house or etc. So my tactics were to kind of talk to him and try to educate.
Of course I needed help, im not taht much tech savvy, so I googled and googled to find tools to help me (im not able to be there to watch what my kid does on the net, watches on youtube and etc, so i needed TOOLS, actual tools to help me with a little bit more "control" :)
and actually there is super cool things such as Youtube safety mode, kids friendly internet browser Kidsplorer and etc etc! it was so helpful. I wanted to share some of these tools with you who are maybe struggling in the same area..
so these ones were really helpful,

Please share your stories! I would love to learn more and to know more tools that could help me to protect children online

Or you know, just don't let them use technology unsupervised?

The internet can also be used for this amazing thing called doing your own fucking research.
