Best tips for the early days with a toddler and new baby

Hi all.

I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant with baby number two and was wondering if those of you with two or more children have any advice or tips for those early days of transition from a family of three to a family of four. Any advice to help the eldest get used to having another little person around? I'm conscious that the early days are going to be full of feeds and nappy changes for the new baby's and I really don't want my eldest to feel left out or pushed out. He's three and knows there's a baby on the way but I doubt he truely understands what this means. We will have either my mum or my parent she in law staying for a few weeks after the birth as we currently live abroad so they're coming out on baby watch / toddler minding duties for a few weeks either side of my due date.

Thanks in advance.
