Mum guilt 7 months pregnant with toddler

Just wanting some insight!!

I’m currently 7 months pregnant with baby no 2 and DS is currently just over 2.5 years.
We lead a pretty busy life most of the time. I don’t drive so we walk everywhere and days we are active it’s usually between 3-5 miles that we walk. The last few weeks I have been exhausted and days where we aren’t busy we’re at home. But this has become 2 days sometimes 3 out of 5. I feel so guilty on him and like he should be out way more! And that I’m holding him back. Just wanting some other perspectives TIA xx

It's only a couple of months he'll be fine, being largely pregnant with a 2yr old is enough to wear anybody out. I'm 34 weeks with a 2yr 5 month old and I've had to limit outings even with a car (getting her into it on the odd occasions she doesn't want to is enough to kill me). As long as she gets enough exercise in the house or out I don't worry. If I overdo it I get very uncomfortable BH so that's the defining factor atm.

It’s only for a short period of time you shouldn’t feel guilty.

Don’t feel guilty. Being a home a few days a week can be really good for small children. I know my DCs (4&2) need the odd day at home to potter and reset each week.

Thank you all for the replies! I’ve just been diagnosed with SPD/PGP and am waiting for a physiotherapy appointment. Literally woke up unable to put weight on one leg and walking is excruciating! So have come to the realisation that for the next 7 weeks I just can’t do the same amount. To tackle mum guilt I’m going to try lots of activities for him to do indoors ( don’t want him turning into a tv zombie 🧟‍♂️). My OH just bought him a trampoline so hopefully that should help with the exercise too! Xx
