Dd spots

Dd has come out in 3 spots like this

Sooo stressed out really can't take this anymore
I keep thinking she's getting cp
A couple weeks ago she had spots like this and then they went away again .

Just can't stand it any longer
Is it normal for kids to come out in random spots for no reason ?!

Just why they keep coming and going
Can't be pox as this has been going on for a couple months

My ds always has a couple of little spots somewhere, some kids just have sensitive skin. You sound very stressed at the thought of her getting chicken pox, is there a reason for this? Generally agree with pp, go to a pharmacist and ask them to take a look and give you cream.
Is it worth having a chat with somebody about your anxiety levels though? You do seem quite worried which must be exhausting for you.

Ah it's not chicken pox that worries me tbh
I don't really know why
Yes I should make a gp appointment Tuesday when dd is at nursery to discuss my anxiety
Feel like I'm trapped in a bubble and just want to be free of my thoughts

Oh I know the feeling and it's so hard with kids isn't it? That's the bit they don't tell you, how much you worry about every little thing. Do go and visit the doctor though and in the meantime I'd suggest lavender Kalms (you can buy them in supermarkets) I take one if I know I'm getting a bit ott and it takes the edge off. Good luck BrewCake

Luckily she seems to be coping OK, I have become the master of thinking of things to do in the house in the last few days. I was making fresh play dough before 8am yesterday.

Personally I think it's all my fault - after the last time she had an unidentifiable rash/spots I wished that she only got things I could identify. Then she got chicken pox the week later!

TWO of the spots have got smaller this morning
Can't really see any more maybe a couple of pimples but not real spots

Yesterdayizdone1 · 19/08/2018 15:04

Today's ones

They are nothing to worry about. They are barely visible. If you are still concerned. Take your child to the GP. And talk to the GP about your anxiety and it sounds like it's becoming a real problem for you

Yesterdayizdone1 · 19/08/2018 15:06

Should I keep her off nursery this week ?
Just in case she's contagious?

NotAgainYoda · 19/08/2018 15:07

No. There is no need to keep her off nursery

Yesterdayizdone1 · 19/08/2018 15:07

Cross post
Yes really need to see a professional about how I feel

NewAndImprovedMe41 · 19/08/2018 16:20

My dd is 2.5 and has spots just like that. I don't think she has cp.

Yesterdayizdone1 · 19/08/2018 17:01

Thanks
Just feel so worried about it at all
