Bubba not pooped for a couple of days

My 10 day old has not pooped for almost 2 days. Is that normal?
He is FF and I'm a FTM.
He is having about 70ml every 3 hrs and burping successfully after every feed.
Lots of wet nappies but no poos.

Getting a bit worried I'm doing something wrong.
He is straining and farting but that's all.

Is there something I should be doing??

Don't know about FF but BF babies can go for ages without pooing. Mine usually went once a week in a horrific poonami...

It's only from about 6 weeks that they don't see that as a problem minty

OP ring midwives/ HV and enquire please. It's too early to not be doing poo every day

That’s fine. Both of mine have only ever pooped about every 5 days. Neither seem too bothered by it. As long as when it comes it isn’t hard and you’re getting plenty of wet nappies, it’s fine.

As arbrighton said it’s after 6 weeks you would expect them to slow down. I’d contact your midwife and just let them know and prep for the poonami!

Ah ok, don't remember what age it started. I just remember the horrific nappies...

There's probably some baby massage techniques you can use but your HV is best to advise.
