Hoping to get to pharmacy in next couple of days and also fingers crossed they have stuff / a comb.

I've looked at Amazon.fr but can't get delivery until Monday.

I'm sure I've read something about using conditioner to smother them? So anyone done this successfully or anything else a campsite Shop might have that could keep them in check?

I haven't tried it but have heard coconut oil is meant to kill them if you have any.

Loads of conditioner and keep combing with any comb you have. Probably won't clear them entirely but definitely better than nothing

listerine original- failing that try any mouthwash.

conditioner and a nit comb? Otherwise youll just have to get to a pharmacy in the morning

disconnecteddrifter · 03/08/2018 19:38

Nit pic - remove all eggs you can see

ThatsWotSheSaid · 03/08/2018 19:38

Loads and loads of conditioner comb through then leave on the hair for half an hour or so. More combing then rinse. Should get rid of most of the lice but probably not the eggs.

Coconut oil and a nit comb. It's all I use.

What's the hair like ,is fine , curly etc

There's a pharmacy in the most rural corners of France, there are almost more of them than bakeries! And one of them should be opened even on Sunday, you'll have the name of the "on call" one taped to the door of any closed one.
Ask for Pouxit, don't get fooled by any "natural" crap.

I found a pharmacy! And I've got Apaisyl - it's in a yellow and black box so hoping it's hardcore??!

I'll also get a tonne of conditioner when we go to the Super U so we can do the combing too

Should I be worrying about boil washing bedding / towels etc or do they tend to just stay put in hair?

I think you're good for now, just wash hair for now and when you get back yes do wash everything and hair again (+3 weeks later)
