I want to buy my little girl a toy kitchen for her second birthday as she loves playing at cooking. Does anyone have one they recommend please?

Ikea. Ours has suffered quite a bit with my DD and DNs and still looks like new 4 years on.

Right, I think we are going with the ikea one but I would like to make it look pretty. Have any of you painted/ decorated yours? I was wondering if it's spray paint you use? Also, do you use wallpaper on the splash back area? I love a bit of crafting!

The Ikea one is fab, but we were given a wooden Aldi one which I think was only £20 new and it has been brilliant too!

I searched the Aldi site for it and it doesn't come up so maybe they aren't selling them at the moment. They look lovely.

Ikea and the accessories are great too

If you want one that's compact and easy to put away, ELC do a really good one. It's a stove/oven with fold out shelves, all the food and utensils fit inside it. DD has enjoyed it just as much as a full size one I think.

My husband went and got the Ikea kitchen this evening. Looking forward to getting stuck into painting it. My little girl will love it. Thanks all.
