I would love to meet up with Italian speaking mums/parents living close to Earls Court/ Chelsea & Kensington. My son is 19 month old and loves playing with other children.
I am German and studied Law in Italy. At the moment I am working fulltime and would be interested in meeting up on Saturdays for a coffee, tea, picnic, outings etc.
A presto.
Anna

Hi Ania,
I am Italian - I live outside London but within easy reach. I have a 20 months old daughter. I spent a year in Austria about 10 years ago and my german used to be quite good, although now it is very rusty...
Hope you see this message soon. Ciao.

ania · 10/09/2004 15:46

Ciao Elelulu,
That sounds really interesting...Maybe we can brush up oour language skills. Let me know if you would be available to meet up. I am working fulltime so I could meet up on weekends. What do think? Is this realistic?
Hope to hear from you soon,
Anna

there's an old thread on this called parli italiano in the meet up topics

Interested in this thread?

Then you might like threads about these subjects:

Anna
I think it could be done - maybe on a Sunday, if that's allright with you. We could find some interesting venue where the kids could also play. I could come to London, no problem.
How do we get organised?

SofiaAmes · 10/09/2004 23:13

I am half italian and would love to meet up too. We have just come back from our 2 weeks by the sea in italy and my 3.5 year old ds has actually remembered a few words. I would love for him to be around others who are speaking italian. I too work, so would have to meet up on the weekend. I'm in Acton. I have a large house and would be happy to have everyone over if the weather isn't good enough to go to the park.

mammatutto · 12/09/2004 19:36

Hi Ania
I am Italian and have a 16 months old son
I replied to you on the other thread on mumsenetters meet up, however have been away and haven't been able to post. How was your move?

I would be able to meet up in the Richmond area, or I could make a trip to central London if it's not raining...

elelulu · 13/09/2004 10:35

Ania, mammatutto, sofiaames and other italian speaking mums,
any suggestion on when and where to meet-up next?
Saluti

ania · 13/09/2004 13:43

Ciao mamme!
Che bello leggere le vostre risposte...Should we set up a time then, maybe a (this?) Sunday from 3.30 to 5.30 and decide on the venue.
If the weather is nice we could go to park, maybe Holland Park?
In case of rain, I am not sure though? SofiaAmes you kindly offered your house. Mine is unfortunately not completely furnished yet. Or what about a Starbuck?s or an other venue big enough to accommodate all of us. Does any of you have any ideas?
Ci vediamo presto allora?
Anna & Damian :-)

Starbucks sounds quite a good idea... of course the park seems more appealing if the weather it's nice!

elelulu · 13/09/2004 16:13

Il prossimo fine settimana e' meglio anche per me (domenica 26) - Venendo da Ascot, Richmond per me sarebbe meglio che central London, 3.30 to 5.30 is OK. Anybody can suggest a venue (walking distance from Richmond railway station please ).

Ciao a tutte

mammatutto · 13/09/2004 18:47

Anibody else?

mammatutto · 14/09/2004 22:18

ania
did not mean to hijack your thread and take over, but it may sound like I have...

Would Richmond be OK with you???

ania · 15/09/2004 15:37

Not at all, please do not worry...Yes, Richmond is fine for me. I am just not entirely sure if I can make it on the 26 as a very good friend of mine is going to see me...But I would really really like to meet you. Why don't you meet up anyway and I will try to make it, and if it won't work out this time I will make it next time?

Ania, fai qualche proposta? La domenica dopo andrebbe bene?

Io Propongo:

Domenica 3 ottobre,

Ania?
Mammatutto?
SofiaAmes?
Altre mamme?

Please let me know

SofiaAmes · 17/09/2004 11:34

non posso venire, ma grazie.

ania · 17/09/2004 12:40

Proporrei Domenica 10 ottobre?

OP posts:
elelulu · 17/09/2004 15:39

mmm... sabato 2 ottobre andrebbe meglio allora?

elelulu · 17/09/2004 19:33

mammatutto,

But again, if you prefer to meet up earlier, it's perfectly fine with me. I am happy to join you another time...
Ciao

Please let me know

mammatutto · 20/09/2004 22:09

Lauraitalia, ci sei per il 10 ottobre?

ania · 21/09/2004 09:56
