Hi everyone i was wondering how do you dress your newborn in this hot weather and what are you using to cover them for the night sleeping? My room temperature is 22-23 😏 which is quite hot. My son is 16 days

I haven't dressed a newborn in this weather, but my house is really warm, she's gone to bed tonight in just a nappy, last night a nappy and vest

I think if it was me I'd go with a long sleeved vest or a shortie baby grow

I found this on Pinterest a while ago if it's any help!! X

During the day, mine is in a romper or vest (with leggings in the cool mornings when we do the school run). At night, in a romper or sometimes a vest with 1 tog muslin sleeping bag. It's very breezy in his room.

If we are at home my two are just in nappies temp is 27/28 degrees c
(22 months and 11 months) if we go out my son is in a light t-shirt and shorts and my daughter just in a light dress. I try sun hats but they won't keep them on! www.theunstoppablemama.online

I had my newborn in just a nappy in his pram in this type of weather, but obv with the hood up and in the shade as much as possible
Took an oversized white muslin cloth for covering him when there might be direct sunlight

In bed again just a nappy but with the baby sleeping bag (the lightest weight one)

In my experience different babies like it different temperatures to some extent... some hate being slightly cold or hot... so you have to play it by ear a bit... my son hates being hot and so theres no way idve got him in a baby grow in this type of weather
