Anyone else have a baby in 1st year of being married?

Title says it all really! We married 21st November 2015 and our DD1 was born November 30th 2016. I was curious if anyone else had children this quick after getting married?

Should quickly mention our daughter was planned and we were overjoyed although I can appreciate that is not everyone's experience of being first-time parents!

We had a child in the first year of being together.

Not us, but have got two sets of friends who had honeymoon babies.

Everyone I know either has a baby/very heavily pregnant before the first anniversary or waits 4-5 years after being married.

Yes. Found out I was pregnant a week before.

Not married but had a baby first year of our relationship it was fucking hard.

I’m 33 weeks pregnant, we got married last October. Not quite a honeymoon baby but almost. She’ll be about 2 months old on our first wedding anniversary ☺️

Yup, ds is a honeymoon baby. Married in July 16, ds born June 17.

Got married November 2011, DD born October 2012

We had baby no2 5 months after getting married. Had a very sober wedding!

Yes I had a very young baby when we got married, and another within the next year

We did. She was pretty much a honeymoon baby.

I had DS 5 months after getting married. I got pregnant the same weekend we got engaged! We thought we might as well get married ASAP. It did look like a shotgun wedding though!

Yes, DS was born exactly 11 months after our wedding day

Got our 1st ds 9 months after the wedding and ds2 on his way exactly 2 years later!

Wish I was as organised in other areas of my life!

We have a honeymoon baby. DS was born 9 months after our wedding!

DD1 was born a month before our first anniversary. I’ll never forget sitting in the bath crying over the state of my nether regions and thinking what have I done, DH will never want/be able to have sex with me again!

I should have mentioned I went a week overdue! So close to inside the first year though!

Also, just to add more craziness to the pot, our son was born December 30th 2017!!

Met my now husband: April 10th 2015
He proposed: June 21st 2015
Got married: November 21st 2015
Daughter born: November 30th 2016

A pretty eventful and fun 3 years!!!

We got married August 2013 and had our eldest son in September 2014.

I got pregnant two weeks before we got married and had no idea. My dh thought it was to soon but we had been together 8 years at this point and he had been badgering me for a baby for about 7 years so I have no idea why he thought it was to soon. But I could imagine that it would be very testing if you hadn't been together that long.

We had a honeymoon baby. Been together 5 years before we married and weren't exactly planning on a baby straight away but Badda Bing badda boom there she was.

Your daughter was born on mine's due date! She was late, too we didn't start trying for dc2 until she was a year old, five months after our wedding, so couldn't have snuck the one that's due soon in any sooner than that!
Both my sister and cousin had honeymoon babies so within ten months.

Yep, got married 2nd June and had my baby the following 5th April. We had 2 children together before we got married though!

Yes had a baby within a year of being married although we had been together for about 10 years so not really a big deal!
