Teachers advice needed please - monitoring visit while pregnant

I'm really worried about the monitoring visit we are getting from Ofsted this week. I spent most of last week really stressed without an inspection but found on Friday that they are in for two days this week. On top of this I'm struggling with the heat. I'm 29 weeks so still have a bit of time to go and have been able to put stress of inspection on hold over the weekend by distracting myself with baby stuff. I've also been struggling with tiredness since half term. Has anyone had similar as a teacher or have any advice?

I had this when I was 37 weeks pregnant! It was very hard as you can imagine.
The inspectors didn’t really come in to see me - they were no doubt being nice. Perhaps they will do similar for you.

Ok first things first- deep breaths, cold drink and sit down.

Then remember a few things-
A) they are there to judge the school and not you.
B) if you are not the head/SLT/SMT the responsibility for this is not on your shoulders.
C) in two days they are NOT going to have time to see EVERYTHING. In fact very few actual lessons.
D) the report will barely be out when you go on maternity leave, and any urgent changes will happen when you are off.

In short. This is not your circus, not your monkeys.

Thank you for your replies.

I've just come home from work due to reduced movements last night and this morning. I'm sure it's stress related so might decide to stay home tomorrow. I know that slt had put me on the list of outstanding teachers they advised the inspectors to se however I'm now off that list and on another so they avoid me due to pregnancy instead.

Have you been in to hospital to get the movements checked out?

I spoke to triage they advised I lie on my left side for an hour and drink something cold and sweet. Took me nearly an hour to get home so I could lie down. I'm ringing them again in about ten mins.

Take it easy OP. What is most important is you and baby.

It really doesn’t matter that much and if your school originally had you on the Outstanding list they obviously think highly of you.

Same thing happened to me during pregnancy. I got so stressed, ended up in hospital with reduced movement. Thankfully everything was fine. My school were really good and I self certified for a week. I thought I could carry on at the same pace, working the same hours and it just wasn't manageable.
