Fussy toddler, don't know what to do!

My 18 month old son will only eat the following: bread, banana, blueberries, pizza, pasta, sausages and of course crisps and chocolate if given them... we did blw from 6 months old and he was an amazing eater, ate whatever you put in front of him till his first birthday, then the fussiness began where he started refusing vegetables but as he ate lots more things was able to hide them. At 14 months old he was in hospital after a nasty case of gastroenteritis and since being poorly these are the only foods left that he will eat. I just don't know how to get out of this rut, we give him what we're eating and he throws it on the floor without trying anything! This has been going on months and then he will just scream for toast or pasta or banana and he is genuinely hungry because he will ask for dinner before we start making it and only when he sees it refuses it! Do I give him what he will eat so he eats or keep basically starving him by making him have what we're having months this has been going on and I've just sobbed at throwing yet another floor dinner in the bin whilst my toddler cries for more toast!!! Help 😞 thank you
