Excessive sweating in a newborn. Nephew just taken to hospital...

Any one know what excessive sweating in a newborn could be due to?

My nephew is 10 days old and has been sweaty for a couple of days, but didn't have a temperature and seemed quite happy and feeding etc.

Brother just called me to say they've been told to take him to the hospiral straight away.

Anyone know what it could be due to???
I'm so worried now. I've been reassuring them it's nothing.

sorry forgot to add my sister leads quite normal life it is easier to controll if detected early if it is your nephew will have consultant dr and nurse within the dedicated cf team

They have run all the tests, all are negative, he has stopped sweating and they are home from hospital.
