What are your babies wearing to bed in the hot weather?

I'm not sure what a 8 month old baby should be wearing when it is unusually warm weather in the uk. Usually they wear a 2.5 tog sleeping bag with pyjamas under neath but this is obviously too warm when temp in room is sayinf 22-23 degrees. Should I put just in vest and sleeping bag? Or maybe no sleeing bag and just pyjamas and socks?

I rely on the gro bag as part of the bedtime routine so last night went for just nappy and gro bag as temp was 25. night before just vest and gro bag

rubyroot · 29/05/2018 17:32

At this temp (23) mine is in a 1 tog plus long sleeve top

My 5 month DD is in a gro bag and vest.

Babygro and light blanket which can be removed.

Lana1234 · 29/05/2018 20:09

Vest and a light blanket. I’m on a middle floor flat and it’s boiling 😅

Blondemother · 29/05/2018 20:10

I would go vest and thin sleeping bag when it’s warm. There are charts you can find with a Google search to guide you according to how hot nursery is and what tog bag you are using.

Short sleeved vest, light leggings and a 0.5 tog grobag

Vest and 0.5 tog bag
Still soaking in sweat!

Bananarama12 · 29/05/2018 20:26

Just a nappy. He has quite a thick blanket he just can't sleep without.

CurlsLDN · 29/05/2018 20:28

Was about to post same link as rubyroot. You can put in their age and the temp and it tells you what to dress them in, easy!

chequeplease · 29/05/2018 20:31

Nappy only!

ThursdayLastWeek · 29/05/2018 20:33

My 'baby' is actually 2 but the last two nights is in a normal gro bag (is that the 2.5tog one, I can’t remember) and long sleeved vest. She prefers to be warmer though, on DC1 that would have created a sweat bucket.

Vitalogy · 29/05/2018 20:51

Nap and popper vest.

GMtoBe · 29/05/2018 20:53

Nappy and 1 tog gro bag at the moment. 7.5 month dd was in just a vest but has been pulling at the neck the last 2 nights for some reason so went with just the gro bag instead and she's much happier

PrincessConsuelaBannanaHammock · 29/05/2018 20:57

DD is 6 months old & is sleeping in a short sleeve vest & gro bag

willothewisp17 · 29/05/2018 21:01

yesterday was very hot, so just a nappy, vest and blanket that she shoves off anyway.

tonight a sleeveless vest and sleepsuit as it's cooler and she has a blackout blind which cools the room down.

helloBuddy · 29/05/2018 21:02

Just a babygro.

boatass · 29/05/2018 21:02

1 tog gro bag and long sleeved vest
