I am completely stuck on what to buy him.. he has most things and I'm not sure what 3yr old boys like.

he has things like a bike.. trampoline.. slide, swing. he has 2 large wooden toy boxes full of toys.

his birthday is middle of May.

we've bought him a swimming pool, but don't know what else to buy.

suggestions please. price is no issue.
thanks :)

Marble run is my go to present for 3 y/o if they have no younger siblings. Early learning or Galt.

Scooter. Easel. Goal and football.

I try to give mine experiences rather than objects. Maybe a day trip somewhere or a special picnic trip.

Or maybe what you have bought already is enough.

Books, play doh, crayons, paints, jigsaws, duplo, wooden train track

Kid K'NEX is brilliant, keeps mine entertained for ages.

A wobbel board! I’d love to get my son one as I’ve heard such good things about them but are a bit pricey

DD2 is 3 tomorrow. We have bought her a new doll, a shark fin swim float, some giant outdoor chalk and a play suitcase.

Decent leather sandals and a new UV swimsuit from DM and PIL, and some interesting science-y bath toys from her uncle.

Never mind what other 3yo boys like, what does your 3yo boy like?

I made the mistake of buying for the sake of it with my eldest when in reality he had a few favourite things and anything else was forgotten about pretty quickly so with #2 I concentrate more on a day out for birthday and maybe 1 gift that I know she'll like.

For her 3rd birthday she got a Kiddiwinks camera and still plays with it 2 years on.

When dd was 3 we bought her a marble run - it lasted all 3 dc and was well played with.
Another huge favourite was duplo** - loads of bricks, not sets - My dc are over 10 now, but will still join in with building duplo towers when we have visitors and I bring it out again.

Duplo or Lego. Or a bunch of Hot Wheels cars. He will still be playing with those at age 10 (will claim the Duplo belongs to little bro - but still enjoy it)

Giant connect 4 could be fun for the garden? Also bean bags and hoops get lots of use here.

Something from the Toot Toot range?

Our DS was given the Toot Toot Train station for his 3rd birthday and he still plays with it now (he's just turned 6). DD (13 months) also loves it!!
