Hi there, Im hoping someone out there can help me. Im a very worried mum of my dear son (aged 27 months) my son has been showing some developmental delays, he's still not walking and not talking (he does babble and says 'dada' thats it though) Initially we were told he was hyper mobile but when he also was slow to meet his talking milestone the docs said it was best to do some tests. He had an MRI and we got the results this week which showed he had a very thin corpus collusum. This news has knocked me for six and I'm so scared at what this might mean for his future. He's a bright, engaged, communicative and social boy who is so very happy - the peaditirican did say that its a case by case and that the evidence is also the child. We have been referred to GOSH to see a neurologist and have bene told that could take up to six weeks. In the meantime I'm sick with worry for what this will mean for my boy. He's strong and can cruise, crawl and stand on his own for a few seconds. I see progress every day. He has OT and Speech therapy once a week and has been having pysio too all of this has helped greatly. Can anyone here give me some advice? Or is anyone here going through something similar?

Sorry Leigh I have no experience and have had to look it up. If yiu are worried, is paying privately to see the Neurologist an option?
