Aldi or Ikea high chair or chill my beans?

So I am probably jumping the gun way too much here, but I saw the Aldi high chair on sale for £20 and wondered if it's worth picking it up now? It's this one: www.aldi.co.uk/hauck-wooden-high-chair/p/065051106729200

I'm not due till June. Am I mad buying it already? Or a good idea to pick up a bargain?

Also, I'm undecided between the Ikea antilop one or this one, does any have any thoughts? I thought this looked like a good version of the tripp trapp one which always gets great reviews.

My dad has that high chair at his house for when my toddler is over there; it's good but a better option if you want a wooden high chair without the high cost of the trip trap is a Baby Dan Dan chair. Similar sort of thing as the trip trap, it grows with the child. Great if you are doing baby led weaning as they can sit right up close to the table from the get go.

Antilop IKEA all the way! So cheap, so easy to clean. you can remove the tray when they are older too. By the time they outgrow it they normally like to site at the table on a portable booster seat anyway. My parents got the ALDI one but never used it as they were so impressed with the Ikea one. They had a little trip and got one themselves!

Ikea Antilop.

Very simple, light, basic, no frills.

Nowhere for food to get stuck.

Removable try.

Full plastic seat so not relying on straps to keep their legs in place.

Can be stood in the shower/garden to hose down when it gets really messy.

Only downside is it doesn't fold down, but we leave ours at the table anyway so it isn't a problem for us.
