I'm going nappy shopping, help me buy lots of cute nappies!

Ds is growing out of his size one fluffles so I need to go shopping!

Now then, fluffles were bought while a new mum to be with so many nappies out there what on earth is the difference terries are so difficult etc etc.

I now have some terries and love them!

So:

Dp has been persuaded that terries are the way to go so they will be my mainstay but I want some bits and bobs of cuteness too, and maybe a good night nappy for Mr super soaker.

So, I'm thinking, some little ewe terries (and maybe a couple more nappy nation bamboo terries)
One or 2 slinki minkis
one or 2 bamineos
a swaddlebes? which one? they are sooo cut!
Minki huggle for the night? Or is the long drying time not worth it?

All topped off with ME wraps and a couple of wacky wraps because I'm weak and can't resist.

minki huggle definetly.love it and it out does any other night time nappy for my super duper soaker dd1

Saddlebees organic velour is a deffinate yes
Thettle Ewe are the best terries I have tried, not had chance to try a bamboo one yet though.
Bambineos are great, as are the slinki minkis.

I think it's a great selection over all

I have a Minki Huggle and 3 EH bumhuggers (all 10 - 20 lb) for night. Preferred the Bumhuggers when ds was smaller, (slimmer fit, huggle just seemed huge) now preferring the Huggle (slightly more absorbent?)(ds now about 14-15lb i guess). Also Huggle is poppers, Bumhuggers velcro - now thinking velcro not so good - if ds is wriggling when I change him he can undo the velcro.

Managed not to buy stupid amounts of cute but expensive nappies (mainly because minkis were out of stock on the site I was on) but did get waylaid by bright bots terries in addition to little ewes.

Maybe I'll add some cute ones later, quite liking the economy of the whole birth to potty thing though, never know you might even find me selling some fluffles.

just wanted to add... bumbles!!! So fluffy, and soft on the inside, and holds lots! Nice and big, but fold down inside themselves for little ones, so are completely birth-to-potty. I love mine, it's definitely the best at night but looks fab all day too. Get them new from easy-peasy nappies (online) and their service is fab too. Did I mention I love them? :D xxx

Oh yes bumbles - I bought one because a lady was wanting to see it at a demo, and I really like it... I was surprised because it is so cheap I was expecting it to be a bit shoddy, but its becoming one of my faves!

Have you looked at p'tit dessous, they're gorgeous (I don't have one sadly)? Or wee notions? I am very admiring of the terries, I may even be inspired to try some out.

Am I the only one who didn't actually find the wacky wrap great? I find the poppers a right pita to fasten, it doesn't fit my ds well at all, the green (I got the green/orange doggy one) is toooo vibrant IMO and the elastic is just plain horrible. I was so disappointed, think I shall stick it on nappy lady & be content with my airflows.

I luuuuurve Wee Notions - especially with the summer coming up - can't wait to show off dd's lilac floral wrap - so gorgeous under dresses. Might have to justify another one for her birthday, but then again, maybe I should be thinking about potty training

I like my wacky for show off purposes (love the ears flappin as he runs), but as a choice for a wrap itself, I'm not overly keen iyswim.

Oh no - I hadn't looked at the Wee Notions site for aaaages and now you've made me look. They've got embroidered PUL wraps and girly ones with brodery anglais (or however you spell it). Could I keep dd in nappies til she's 3 - do you think I'd scar her for life?

Maybe I should have bought a wacky for when he's older (like crawling or walking). Just seems a bit pointless now and it's just covered up by vest all day. AND they're a PITA to wash. Right, that's it, it's going on nappy lady so I can buy some bumbles

Ah yes - def better for babies who's bums are seen!! I wash it in my normal nappy wash too - tis just a bit bobblyish now

At the moment finances have won out and I've stuck with terries. Don't like the way he has grown out of fluffles, they arefine around the waist but its lik he's too long for them. Anyway my plan of attack is now to teach dp to terry, convince him to sell fluffles then spend some of that money on a few cute nappies but going to stick to birth to potty stuff, can't be doing with this whole spending more money lark or with having a million nappies to store!

AQ terries are great, I have been converted in a big way. Today ds has a bright green bottom covered in a cute printed air-flow

Do you take paypal, flame? Trying only to spend money I make by selling things on ebay at present.
Just got a periwinkle pocket swaddlebees and love it, fits ds2 so nicely although it's a large (he's 16lb, they start at 22, so what's that about?). Will be tempted by more although certainly can't afford any new ones. Great take in the bag nappy, I think.
