How many cloth nappies should I get?

Hi - have decided to go for bamboozles for our baby - due in a month. Size one goes up to 18lbs, size 2 starts at 10lb. Question is how many size ones shall I buy and how many size 2s will I need when it's bigger? I know they take a while to dry and we don't have a tumble dryer - so need to factor that in.

Thanks for any help...

Pressed send too soon - the point of that post was to say to nk not to worry about trying lots of types and fastenings as the secondhand market in nappies is great so you can sell on any that you don't get on with. As I said, it seems like it varies a lot between people and babies what the best nappy is.

Shona - I think that was the good thing about me doing nippas from the beginning... it was just how we fastened nappies so all DH knew

Nappy buckets - I actually use one of those big yellow bin things that you are meant to use for disps... the lid fastens securely and I just shove them through the hole. Its a decent size too.

Also agree that in hosp - go for the easiest option. You have enough on your plate with DH visiting etc to work out sending home nappies to wash.
