Babywearers, I have a new wrap, and it cost me £8!

I bought 6m of khaki coloured muslin from a fabric shop online and it arrived today, I have put DD in it in a front cross carry, a rucksack carry and a hip carry and it is FAB!

It's virtually seethrough so very, very light and breathable but as it is 40 inches wide there is more material to hold her so I am not worried about strength.

And it folds up tiny!

No comments needed, I am just feeling very smug, might have to go and get some more in every colour!

Wow that's great! Did you have to do anything to it?

chirpygirl · 04/05/2007 18:45

No, nothing! I followed the destructions here for a no-sew wrap (down the bottom) and just had to put bands round the ends as the sides are finished already. I had it on and her in within 10 minutes of opening the parcel!

Sorry, wandered off to showoff to my mate and then it was bedtime!

Fabric was from here search under muslin and they have loads of colours.

I've put a pic on my profile as well, I still can't get the hang of crossing the fabric round her bum....I shall have to keep practising!

It was very comfy, DD cried when I took her out of the front carry until I put her on my back and she realised she was going to get to be carried more!
