Advice on how to get my kids to get along

it's half term and my kids DD 9 and DS 5 are at each others throats. They fight over everything and usually 99.9% of the time its petty stupid stuff. I just want them to get along so I can finish a chore without having to stop and scold them both or break up a fight.
this goes on all day. sometimes they do get along and that usually lasts for 10 minutes before one of them does something the other doesnt like and they start pinching and shouting.

I'm open to any kind of advice. I've already tried seperating them and they seem to gravitate towards each other again, but doesnt take long for another fight to start. i know this is normal sibiling behaviour but still very stressful having to deal with this all day.

and i know my daughter being the oldest should know better and when shes around her friends and in school shes usually very sensible and mature but just her and her brother and she might as well be 5 too! Confused
