Nappy Sizes - did you ever reach size 6?

My 20 month DS (average size, always hovered around 50th percentile), progressed smoothly from size 1 to 5. He has been in size 5 nappy pants since before his first birthday I think. There are offers on at the moment so i'd like to stock up. I'd hopefully like to start potty training a few months after he turns two. Is it worth buying size 6 in advance or do some toddlers never reach size 6?

Yes at night at 2yr 3m. He’s below the recommended weight but the 5s leaked.

Ds is 3 next month he still wears a nappy over night I've just started to put him in a size 6 as he was leaking over night In a size 5

I think it depends enormously on the shape of your child: my very tall ds was only barely into 5s when he potty trained at 2.5 but that's mainly because he has a small waist and skinny legs. Other kids from our NCT cohort were in 6s from far earlier.
