I get childcare vouchers, DH gets the govt scheme - is it worth doing?

Currently on mat leave. I can still register for childcare vouchers at my work before the cut off in April next year.

However, DH's work are now not doing CC vouchers and have swapped over to the govt 80/20 scheme.

Do the two work together? Is it worth doing both or would I be better just doing the govt scheme?

Not sure you can do both. We do the 80/20 scheme it is a bit of a faff to get set up but the savings each month have been well worth it.

Bumping for clarity/future’s sake. You can’t use childcare vouchers and tax free childcare (the ‘80/20’). This applies to both couples and individuals - so as we use TFC, neither of us can claim vouchers. TFC is also not run through employers but there is eligibility criteria. Broadly better for those with more than one child or who pay over certain amounts for one child.
