The edging was peeling off so I attacked with superglue, now I have a half inch long piece stuck to me. How can I get it off?

nail varnish remover?

I don't have any. Anything else I can try before I go shopping tomorrow?

Just googled it and found this:

Skin
Immerse bonded areas in warm, soapy water. Peel or roll skin apart; a spatula or teaspoon handle or even a pencil will help. Remove cured adhesive with warm, soapy water (may take several applications). Fingernail polish remover with an acetone base has also been successful for removal of cured adhesive from skin.

Good luck!

gloves?

sorry I'm being flippant but this is so like something I would do

MoosMa · 12/04/2007 07:52

I've got a plaster over it at the moment to stop it catching on something and breaking as once it's removed I want to stick it back on the desk

I'll try the soapy water later, thanks for that!

do tell us how the shopping went? Did you need a separate trolley for the plank? Hope its ok.

I kept the plaster on while I shopped then I peeled it off when I got home. There's a bit of my skin/thumb print still on it though - eww.
