Ideas for baby food - just turned 6months

She's been on porridge for a few weeks and getting on ok. Looking for ideas of other foods she can have please?

She can have everything apart from honey and whole nuts! Watch her salt intake and avoid sugar / processed food and you’re golden.

My just turned 6 month old had egg bread and mango slices for breakfast, selection of cooked veg (green beans, broccoli, carrot & baby corn ) with avocado and tomato for lunch. Couple of rice cakes when I was in an appointment to keep her quiet and missed Dinner as she was tired- but it would have been meatballs in Tom sauce with pasta twists.

I can't recommend mashed banana and avocado highly enough - quick and easy to store/doesn't need heating up!
I still give it to my DS for lunch sometimes and he is 16 months!!

Start with some
Mashed veg and fruit and progress to mixed things slowly. Fingers foods also good for practising self feeding and holding things
