I know all babies are different and hit their milestones differently. Just curious really.

How long after your baby got into the crawling position and rocking back and forth did they actually starting crawling?
How old wère they?

About a week at 9-10months - had been commando crawling for a couple of months by then.

Ds1 - 4 months (he leant to walk several months before he learnt to crawl)

Ds2 - about a week.

Babies are very variable. Smile

DD1 did this for probably a couple of months but she was and early rocker and normal aged crawler if that makes sense.

DD2 did it for less than a week and then she was off.

DS rocked on his bottom for about 2 weeks then crawled with no going on all fours in between. This happened at around 7.5 months old

Thanks! Was curious as DS is 6.5 months and finally managed to get up on all fours with a rocking motion. He gets mega frustrated as he can't get move so don't think it'll be long before he's crawling. Better get the baby gates out!
