Help! Attempting to bf the world's most distractible baby! (with toddler sibling around)

As above. My 6mo is so distracted while feeding and with her 2.5 yo sister around I am really struggling to get enough milk into her into the day so she is still waking 3 times a night for feeds, sob! Please please let me know your strategies for managing a distractible feeder with a toddler around. Feeding in a dark quiet room just isn't an option this time round!

Have you tried a breast feeding cover - the properly constructed ones? I used to bf a lot outside the house and these were great in busy places like cafes when DC got distracted.

Hi Thing. Thanks for replying. I do have one but have never used it. Not sure if DD will accept it but it's worth a try.

Yes to covering up so it's less distracting for her and keeping noise down (settle toddler to something she can watch or do without loud noises). I can remember the pain of the baby suddenly dragging her head around when feeding as she heard someone or something interesting and didn't let go first, ouch! Should also help her drift off and sleep feed so that she won't wake too much through the night.
