Hi,

dd (18mths) has suddenly started being ultra clingy after months of being fine. Even if dp takes her she will cry and say mama mama interminably until I take her again. Yesterday I went into the garden to plant a couple of things and the only way dp could stop her crying was to hold her at the window so she could see me and shout mama!!

I've just found out I'm pg again as well so am exhausted and not in the best of temperaments to cope. Plus it's not nice for poor dp who adores her. Just wondering if this is typical and if it will pass soon?

I can't tell you if it's typical but my DS is 18 months and is also quite clingy again, always wanting hugs and kisses.

Just to let you know that it's not just you!

My daughter who is 2+5yrs has started being all clingy again too-screaming when she cant see me, i have to announce when i am going to the toilet..her twin bruv aint bothered about not seeing me at all times....

..none of my other children were like this at this age.....i have noticed she is dreaming a lot more and waking crying but soon goes off again without me having to do anything..so maybe was thinking maybe she is just starting to get spooked by things?
